How to compare a review with your own move

Two moves can both get five stars and still have very little in common. A 1BHK shifted from HSR Layout to Koramangala on a weekday morning is a very different job from a 3BHK going from Whitefield to Pune along with a scooter. Before you lean on any review, good or bad, check how close it is to your own situation.

Local shifting or intercity

Within Bengaluru, the day usually depends on traffic, society entry rules and how long loading takes. In an intercity move, transit time and the handover at the destination matter much more. A review of a local shift tells you about the packing crew and punctuality, but says little about long-distance transit, and the other way round. What was being moved

Household goods, a bike or car, and office equipment are all handled differently. If you are shifting a vehicle, a review that talks only about kitchen packing won't help you much. Look for entries that mention items similar to yours, such as a double-door fridge, a glass dining table or a set of office workstations.

Access at both ends

Floor level, whether the lift could take furniture, how far the truck had to park from the gate and any society timing restrictions all change how long a move takes and how much handling the goods go through. If a reviewer mentions a fourth-floor walk-up or a long carry to the road, that is useful context for the timing they describe.

Shared or dedicated vehicle

For intercity moves, goods may travel in a vehicle used for one customer or in one shared with other consignments, and this affects how long transit takes. Reviewers don't always know or mention it, but when they do, compare it with what your own quote is based on.

What makes a review useful to the next customer

A one-line "good service" does not tell the next reader much. If you have moved with us, the points below help other readers understand your experience. Use whichever apply and write it in your own words:

• When you moved – the month and year is enough.
• The broad route – for example, Bellandur to Hebbal, or Bengaluru to Chennai. No house numbers or society names.
• Size of the move – a 1BHK, a few cartons and a bike, a ten-desk office, and so on.
• What was agreed and what actually happened – did the items, scope and timing match what was discussed when you booked?
• Packing and condition on arrival – how fragile items, furniture and appliances were packed, and the state they reached in.
• Communication – whether you could reach someone when you needed an update.
• What went well, and what could have been better.

Give the rating that honestly matches your experience. A three-star review with clear reasons is more useful to other customers, and to us, than five stars with no detail. We only ask for your own honest account, so please don't post on someone else's behalf or copy text from elsewhere.

After you submit, your review is held as pending until it is approved, so it won't appear on the page straight away.

Keep personal details out of your review

Reviews on this page are public, and anyone can read them. Please don't include:

• anyone's phone number, including your own;
• your full address, flat number or society name;
• your booking or consignment reference;
• vehicle RC, driving licence, Aadhaar, PAN or any other ID;
• payment screenshots, receipts, or bank or UPI details;
• photos that show any of the above.
