Intercity household moves

Carpenter, AC and electrician support
Wardrobe and bed refitting, split AC removal and reinstallation, fans and lights. These are arranged after we know the model and the wall or fitting at the new place, and they are charged as separate lines. Gas refilling, new copper pipe or wiring work is quoted only after the technician checks it.
Short holding if your flat is not ready
If your new flat is not ready on the moving date, ask us about short-term holding. We will tell you before booking whether it is available for your dates, the per-day charge, when you can access the goods and what redelivery costs.
Unpacking and debris pickup
Unpacking of kitchen and wardrobe cartons and taking back empty cartons and wrapping on the same visit can be added. Say so when you book, because it changes the crew time.

House shifting ranges assume standard packing material (cartons, bubble wrap, stretch film, foam for glass), packing, loading, transport, unloading and refitting of furniture we dismantled. Mini truck rates are for loading, transport and unloading of goods you have already packed. Taxes, if applicable, are shown as a separate line in the written quote.
What pushes a local quote up or down
- How much you actually have. Two 2 BHK flats can differ by a full truck. A home office, a 300-book shelf or a big modular kitchen adds cartons and hours.
- Floor and lift. Fourth floor without a lift, or a lift too small for the fridge or sofa, means carrying by stairs and more people.
- Distance from truck to door. If the truck has to stop on the main road and goods are carried down a cross road, that walking time is real labour.
- Heavy or delicate items. Solid wood cots, marble-top tables, glass dining tables, large TVs, pianos and gym equipment need extra wrapping or extra hands.
- Dismantling and refitting. Hydraulic beds, sliding wardrobes and modular units take longer than a simple cot.
- Date. Month-end weekends are the busiest days for rented-flat moves in this part of Bangalore, so book earlier for those.
- Add-ons. AC removal and installation, electrician work, unpacking and debris pickup are separate lines.

If the same family takes only transport-only with a 14 ft truck and three helpers, the material and packing labour lines mostly go away, but they will have to pack everything themselves. If they add AC removal and reinstallation, that becomes one more line. A good quote should show you each of these lines so you can decide.

Koramangala is not one address. It is eight blocks plus pockets like KHB Colony, ST Bed Layout and National Games Village, cut by 80 Feet Road, 100 Feet Road, Sarjapur Road and Hosur Road. Within the same block you will find an old independent house with a narrow gate and a new apartment with a basement goods lift. So we do not price by block. We price by the building.

Shared flat moving: roommates, split items and multiple drops
A lot of Koramangala moves are three or four flatmates leaving one flat and going to three or four different places. That is not the same job as a single 3 BHK family move, and pricing it as one often causes fights later. This is how we suggest planning it.
Before the moving day
- Make one list per person. Each roommate lists their own items: bed, mattress, cartons, chair, monitor, bike.
- List the shared items and decide who takes them. The fridge, washing machine, sofa, dining table, router and kitchen items are where confusion starts. Decide the owner before we come, not in the lift.
- List what stays. Landlord's furniture, the leased router, the water purifier on rent and the gas cylinder connection should not go into anyone's carton. Write them down so our team knows not to pack them.
- Separate the deposit and key handover from the move. We move goods; the deposit refund and key return are between you and your owner. Plan the handover after the last person's goods leave.
On the day
- Every carton and item gets the owner's name and drop number.
- We keep a separate inventory for each drop, with the receiver's name and phone.
- Loading order follows the drop order, so the last drop is loaded first.
- Each extra drop is a separate line in the quote. If the drops are far apart in opposite directions, two smaller vehicles can work out cheaper than one big truck doing a long loop. We tell you which is cheaper before you book.
Students and PG moves near Jyoti Nivas College
Many students staying around Jyoti Nivas College in 5th Block give the college name as the pickup address. The college's own address (Hosur Road, Koramangala, Bengaluru 560095) is for the campus, not for the PG or flat where your things are. Please send us the PG building name, street, cross and PIN, and the warden's or owner's number if they need to see the goods leave.
- If you are moving things out of a college hostel or any campus building, ask the institution what permission or gate pass is needed. Every place has its own rules and we will follow what they tell you.
- Carry your original certificates, mark sheets, passport, laptop and hard disks yourself. Do not put them in the truck.
- Measure and list the bed, mattress, study table, chair, fridge and cartons so vehicle load space, packing and legal carrying capacity can be assessed.
- If two or three friends are moving from the same PG on the same day, you can share one vehicle with separate drops, as explained above.
Startup and coworking office shifting in Koramangala
Koramangala has many small offices on upper floors of mixed buildings and in coworking spaces. The physical move is usually the easy part. Delays come from paperwork: who owns which chair, whether the landlord's AC can be removed, and whether laptops can leave without the IT person's sign-off.
Office move checklist
- Three lists: what the company owns, what is leased or rented, and what belongs to the building or coworking operator and must stay
- Desk-wise inventory: desk number, monitor, CPU or dock, keyboard, chair, drawer unit
- Employee laptops: decide if staff carry them home or they go in sealed, numbered cartons with a sign-off list
- IT backup done and verified by your IT person or vendor before the move
- Cables bagged and labelled per desk; monitor and CPU cartons numbered to match
- Destination floor plan with desk numbers, so cartons are placed directly
- Building permission and lift timings at both offices, including weekend access if you move on Saturday
- Server rack, network switch and internet line: shifting and reconnection is done by your IT or ISP team. We pack and move the hardware as instructed
- Exit inspection and handover of the old office done by your admin with the building
Many small teams pack on Friday evening and move on Saturday so that Monday starts in the new office. Whether everything is working on Monday depends on internet activation and your IT setup, so plan those dates first. We do not promise zero downtime because the network side is not in our hands.
Different homes, different packing: heavy furniture, WFH setups, glass
Heavy wooden furniture
Older homes often have solid teak or rosewood cots, almirahs and dining sets. These need blankets, corner guards, more people and sometimes removal of doors or legs. Tell us about them on the survey so we bring enough hands.
Glass and marble tops
Assess how glass or stone tops are fixed, whether safe removal is possible, and their weight and dimensions. Use suitable cushioning, supports and orientation for the actual construction with competent handling; protect them from stack pressure.
Work-from-home and creator setups
Monitors with arms, standing desks, ring lights, mics and camera gear. Please note the model of your standing desk and monitor arm so we know how they come apart. Original boxes help if you still have them.
TVs, washing machines, fridges
TVs are packed in carton with foam or in their original box. Follow the actual washer and fridge manufacturer’s transport preparation with competent help. Arrange appropriate model-specific transport fittings, drain and dry appliances, and follow the maker’s position and restart guidance.
Shops, cafes and small commercial moves
Around Maharaja Signal, 80 Feet Road and 100 Feet Road, we get calls from shop and cafe owners moving to a new outlet or into storage. We move furniture, racks, display units, packed stock and kitchen equipment. A few things need to be sorted by the owner before our team comes:
- Arrange gas disconnection and cylinder transfer through the supplier or an appropriate authorised service. Do not include cylinders in the ordinary household or shop load.
- Electrical and plumbing disconnection of ovens, coffee machines, dishwashers and chillers is done by your technician or the brand service team.
- Refrigerated stock and food items move in your own arrangement. We do not provide cold-chain transport.
- If the premises are rented, get written clearance from the landlord on what fixtures can be removed.

Part load or dedicated truck?
- Part load (shared truck): your goods share space with other customers going the same way. Cheaper for 1-2 BHK. The truck may wait a day or more to fill before dispatch, and it can stop for other deliveries.
- Dedicated truck: the full vehicle is for your goods only. Better for 3 BHK and above, fixed joining dates or delicate items you do not want handled at transit points.
How an intercity timeline really works
- Packing and loading day: one day for most 1-3 BHK homes, sometimes two for large houses.
- Dispatch: confirm the allotted vehicle’s actual dispatch appointment; a shared service also needs its consolidation allowance stated.
- Transit: the road days in the table above.
- Delivery appointment: we call before arrival and fix a time that fits your new society's moving rules.

Before handing over your bike or car
- Keep the RC and insurance copy ready; carry the originals yourself and give us copies.
- Follow the assigned carrier and manufacturer’s fuel or battery preparation, without treating battery disconnection as a routine packing task.
- Remove helmets, side boxes, phone holders and anything loose inside the car.
- Note the odometer reading and take photos from all sides together with our team at pickup.
How the moving process works
- Share your list or book a survey. Send room-wise photos or a list on WhatsApp, or ask for a video call or home visit. For 2 BHK and above, a survey saves surprises.
- Get a written, itemised quote. It shows packing material, labour, vehicle, add-ons, transit cover option, taxes if any, and the payment schedule.
- Confirm date and building slots. You confirm the goods-lift slot and gate permission at both ends. We fix the reporting time to match.
- Packing day. The crew packs room by room, labels each carton with room and number, and lists any existing scratches or dents on furniture.
- Loading and inventory check. You check the inventory, sign it and keep a copy. For intercity moves you get a docket number for status requests to our office.
- Delivery and unloading. Cartons go to the right rooms, furniture we dismantled is refitted, and you check items against the list before signing.
- After the move. If you notice damage while unpacking, send photos and the carton number to the same coordinator. The cover terms decide how a claim is handled.

Rainy day moves
Bangalore's afternoon showers can turn up without notice, especially from June to October. On rainy days we keep cartons stacked indoors near the door until the truck is backed in, use dry, finish-compatible protection for upholstery and mattresses, confirm a covered vehicle and protected loading, and do not leave anything waiting on the road. If it is pouring hard, we pause loading rather than rush it. Agree suitable floor protection and a dry, unobstructed carrying route at both addresses.

Transit cover, damage and claims
Transit cover is optional and is not automatic with every move. If you want it, ask for it in your quote. We will tell you in writing what value you are declaring, what the premium is, what is not covered (for example items you packed yourself, or cash and jewellery) and how to claim. Please read those terms before you pay.
- At loading, the inventory notes any existing scratches or dents on furniture and appliances.
- At delivery, check visible damage before signing and write it on the delivery receipt.
- Take photos of the damaged item, the carton and its number.
- Report it to the coordinator within the time mentioned in your cover document, with the photos and inventory copy.
