Shifting from Bengaluru to Jaipur is a long road move – roughly 1,900 to 2,050 km, depending on the highway the truck takes and where exactly your goods are being delivered in Jaipur. A flat in Vaishali Nagar, a tower in Jagatpura and a factory gate in Mahindra World City are three very different deliveries, and a good estimate should treat them that way.
This page is for Rajasthan families going back home after a few years in Bengaluru, working professionals moving into a rented flat, students with a room's worth of things and a bike, and office coordinators who need desks, laptops and monitors to reach Jaipur in working order. Below you will find indicative Bengaluru to Jaipur house shifting charges, how a shared part load differs from a dedicated truck, realistic transit time, what changes at the Jaipur end, car and bike transport, and the paperwork that actually applies to your kind of goods.
Packers and Movers from Bangalore operates from HSR Layout, Bengaluru. Every figure on this page is a guide only – the final price is confirmed after a video survey or home visit, in writing. Call or WhatsApp 7015440700.

Bangalore to Jaipur Shifting Charges (Indicative, 2026)
The rates below are for a full packing-and-moving job on household goods – packing material, packing labour, loading at Bengaluru, road transport to Jaipur and unloading at your door. Vehicles are carried separately on car or bike carriers, so they have their own table further down. Please don't add the two tables and treat it as one truck price.
| Home size | Usual load | Shared part load | Dedicated truck | Planning time from packing / pickup |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 RK / 1 BHK | Bed, wardrobe, fridge, washing machine, basic kitchen, 15–25 cartons | ₹14,000 – ₹22,000 | ₹28,000 – ₹42,000 | Shared: 10–16 days Dedicated: 6–8 days |
| 2 BHK | Full furniture set, 1–2 ACs, washing machine, 30–50 cartons | ₹22,000 – ₹35,000 | ₹40,000 – ₹65,000 | Shared: 10–16 days Dedicated: 6–8 days |
| 3 BHK / 4 BHK | Complete household, 3+ ACs, heavy furniture, 50–80+ cartons | ₹32,000 – ₹52,000 (only for a lighter 3 BHK) |
₹60,000 – ₹1,10,000 | Shared: 12–18 days Dedicated: 6–8 days |
| Art, marble or antique-heavy home | Paintings, marble tops, glass, carved wood that need individual crates | Special assessment | ₹45,000 – ₹1,20,000 (indicative assessed move; item, weight and crate scope decide) |
Dedicated: 6–8 days |
How to read these numbers:
- Dedicated planning includes the packing/loading day; shared windows start at pickup and include consolidation. Confirm actual dispatch and receiving dates.
- Select the vehicle by actual dimensions, safe volume and weight after survey; do not assign every 4BHK the same truck or number of vehicles.
- The art row is not a separate "route price". It is the range for a full dedicated move when a good part of the load is crated. A single painting or marble tabletop needs its own measured handling and packing assessment; agree whether it changes the household estimate.
- GST is charged as applicable and shown as a separate line in the written estimate.
What pushes the price up or down
- Actual volume – the number of cartons and large items, not just "2 BHK". Two families with the same flat size can need very different trucks.
- Mode – shared part load, dedicated truck or a vehicle carrier.
- Access at both ends – floor, lift size, stairs, distance from where the truck can stand to your door, and any smaller shuttle vehicle needed in Jaipur.
- Exact Jaipur endpoint – a city colony, a high-rise society or an outer industrial or township gate (explained below).
- Special packing – wooden crates for paintings, marble, glass and antiques.
- Optional work – AC removal and fitting, carpenter for modular wardrobes, appliance fitting, storage.
- Season – month-end, school holiday months and festival weeks are busier, and truck availability changes.
Full Packing-and-Moving vs Transport-Only: Read Your Quote Properly
When you compare quotes for packers and movers Bangalore to Jaipur, the biggest confusion is that different companies are quoting for different jobs. Before comparing figures, check which of these you have been given:
| Estimate type | What is usually covered | What you handle yourself |
|---|---|---|
| Full packing and moving | Packing material and labour, dismantling basic furniture, loading, transport, unloading, placing items in rooms, basic reassembly | Usually only valuables, documents and your daily-use bag |
| Transport-only (freight) | Truck space and road transport, sometimes loading and unloading | All packing, labelling, dismantling, and often labour at one or both ends |
| Vehicle carrier | Car or bike pickup, carrier transport, delivery with condition check | Vehicle documents, removing personal items from the car |
Line items a proper written estimate should show
- Packing material and packing labour
- Loading at Bengaluru (floor, lift or stairs noted)
- Line-haul transport – shared or dedicated, with truck size for dedicated
- Tolls and driver charges – whether included or separate
- Unloading in Jaipur, including any shuttle vehicle or long carry
- Unpacking and reassembly – what exactly is included
- Optional services: AC, appliance fitting, carpenter, storage
- Transit cover premium, if you choose to take it, with declared value
- Halting or waiting charge per day, if delivery cannot happen on arrival
- GST
If something isn't written, ask before you book. It is much easier to sort out on the phone in Bengaluru than at the gate in Jaipur.
Bangalore to Jaipur Distance, Route and Realistic Transit Time
On the map, Bengaluru to Jaipur by road is around 1,900 to 2,050 km. Which figure applies depends on the alignment used:
- Main observed driving option: about 1,913 km, labelled via NH52.
- Other observed options: about 1,898 km labelled via NH44, and about 2,039 km via NE4.
- Before dispatch: confirm the assigned goods vehicle’s actual corridor, permissions, current works/diversions and both service gates. A highway label does not mean the entire journey stays on one road.
Add the distance from your exact pickup point in Bengaluru and your exact gate in Jaipur – an outer township or industrial area can add a good number of kilometres to the city-to-city figure.
Separate driving time from the moving schedule
For planning, allow around 6–8 days from packing for a dedicated household move, including roughly 5–7 days for dispatch and road movement. Shared planning is around 10–16 days from pickup, and a larger shared consignment may need around 12–18 days. Confirm pickup, consolidation, dispatch and receiving windows for the actual inventory, vehicle, roads, weather and premises; confirm actual dates for the booked arrangement. The roughly 33-hour car navigation estimate does not include a complete packing, goods-vehicle and final-delivery operation.
Season matters
- April–June: very hot on the Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan stretches. Agree a suitable permitted unloading slot and avoid leaving heat-sensitive items (candles, some medicines, vinyl records) in the truck.
- July–September: monsoon on the Karnataka and Maharashtra side. Check suitable moisture protection, dry packing and covered unloading arrangements.
- December–January: fog on northern stretches can slow trucks for the running and receiving plan.
Services on the Bangalore–Jaipur Route
- Household shifting – 1 RK to 4 BHK and independent houses, full packing and moving.
- Shared part load – for smaller moves where you share truck space.
- Dedicated truck – 14 ft to 32 ft, depending on volume.
- Car transport – open or enclosed carrier, separate from your household truck.
- Bike transport – packed two-wheeler transport.
- Office and IT equipment shifting – workstations, monitors, laptops, small server and network racks, office furniture.
- Art, marble, glass and antique crating – measured, photographed and crated piece by piece.
- Optional services – AC removal and fitting, appliance fitting, carpenter, short-term storage or holding.
Delivery in Jaipur: Colony, Tower or Outer Endpoint – What Changes
"Jaipur" is not one delivery point. The same truck can have a very easy unloading in one area and need a shuttle vehicle, a gate pass or a lift booking in another. There is no single rule that applies to the whole city, so please tell us the exact address, nearest main road and building type when you ask for a quote.
Older central colonies – C-Scheme, Bani Park, Raja Park, Civil Lines, Adarsh Nagar
Many homes here are independent houses or low-rise buildings on internal lanes. A big truck may not be able to come right up to the gate, and city traffic rules can limit when large goods vehicles enter central areas. In such cases goods are shifted to a smaller tempo near the main road. Stairs are common, so mention the floor and the width of the staircase, especially for sofas, double-door fridges and wardrobes.
Vaishali Nagar, Mansarovar, Malviya Nagar, Shyam Nagar
A mix of independent houses, builder floors and apartment buildings. Main sector roads are wide, but internal lanes vary from block to block. Some apartment buildings have a small lift or none at all. Check where a truck can stand, whether parking needs to be cleared in front of the gate, and if the building has any move-in timing.
Jagatpura, Tonk Road, Pratap Nagar, Sanganer – high-rise societies
Here the society usually decides the rules. Before the truck reaches, check with your RWA or facility office about:
- Move-in permission or NOC from the owner, if you are renting
- Service lift booking – date and time slot
- Lift door width and cabin depth (measure for sofa, fridge and bed base)
- Truck parking or entry rules inside the campus
- Any refundable deposit for lift or common-area damage
If a lift slot is booked for a particular morning, a dedicated truck is the safer choice. With shared, delivery is planned after arrival and may not match a slot booked weeks earlier.
Outer endpoints – Ajmer Road, Mahindra World City, Sitapura, Bagru, Kalwar Road
For Ajmer Road, Mahindra World City, Sitapura, Bagru, Kalwar Road or another outer endpoint, share the full address, plot or tower, service gate and receiver. The actual location can change the approach, distance, access and handling; agree its delivery scope rather than applying one automatic outer-area surcharge.
Mahindra World City: zone, plot and company gate
The official developer identifies Mahindra World City Jaipur off NH48, with ring-road proximity and SEZ/DTA zones. Give the actual zone, plot and service entrance. A company unit, an office receiving bay and a residential enquiry near the development need different receiving details:
- A residential enquiry near or within a named development – treat it like a society delivery: entry permission, lift and timing.
- A company unit in the DTA zone – ask the unit’s admin team about vehicle passes, the named receiver and accepted delivery hours.
- A company unit inside the SEZ – goods going into an SEZ unit follow that unit's own SEZ procedures. Their compliance or admin team decides what paperwork the goods need. We need those instructions and the gate details from them before dispatch, not at the gate.
So please give us the exact zone, plot number, service gate and receiver's name. "Mahindra World City, Jaipur" alone isn't enough to plan the delivery.
| Area type | Typical access | Check before dispatch | Possible extra |
|---|---|---|---|
| Older central colonies | Check the actual lane, floor and stairs | Truck reach, floor, staircase width | Shuttle tempo, long carry |
| Vaishali Nagar / Mansarovar type sectors | Mixed – houses and apartments | Parking in front, lift or stairs | Stairs carry for upper floors |
| High-rise societies (Jagatpura, Tonk Road) | Check the actual lift and premises rules | NOC, lift slot, lift size, deposit | Any agreed waiting/redelivery cost |
| Outer townships and industrial areas | Actual zone, entrance and approach | Zone, plot, gate, receiver | Extra km, waiting time |
Office and IT Equipment Shifting from Bengaluru to Jaipur
We handle small and mid-size office moves on this route – a few workstations, monitors, laptops, network gear, a small server rack, chairs and storage. If you are also moving your own household in the same period, we plan the two as separate jobs, even if they travel in the same truck.
Keep office goods and household goods separate
- Separate inventory – office items listed by desk or asset number, with serial numbers for IT equipment.
- Separate labels – colour or code labels so nothing from home lands at the office or the other way round.
- Separate paperwork – company goods are not "used household effects" and travel with the company's own documents (see the paperwork section).
- Separate loading order – if combined transport is accepted, agree segregation, restraint and safe access to each delivery load.
Receiving requirements at offices, IT parks and industrial plots
Office buildings and industrial areas usually have their own rules – goods entry only through a service gate, vehicle pass, security register, fixed receiving hours, sometimes weekend or after-hours entry by permission only. Ask your facility team for these details and share them with us, along with the floor plan or seat plan if you want desks placed by number. In Sitapura or Mahindra World City, the plot's own admin decides access; we can't assume a common rule.
First working day: desk, monitor and cable essentials
Many people moving to Jaipur keep working remotely or in hybrid mode. Whether it is your home desk or a team's office, pack one clearly marked "open first" box for each workstation:
- Laptop charger and any USB-C dock or hub
- Monitor power cable and HDMI / DisplayPort cable
- Keyboard, mouse, headset and webcam
- Wi-Fi router and its adapter, plus one extension board
- Desk and chair screws in a sealed, labelled pouch kept with the corresponding item without adhesive on a finished surface
Carry the laptop itself with you. Back up data before packing – the IT team or the user is responsible for backups and data security. Monitors go in their original boxes where available, otherwise screen-side padding and an "upright" mark. Loose hard drives, RAM and similar parts go in anti-static bags inside a padded box.
Packing Art, Marble, Glass and Wooden Furniture
Families going back to Rajasthan often carry pieces that matter more than their price – a grandmother's painting, a marble inlay tabletop, carved wooden furniture, brass items. These are handled with measurement and a written condition record, not just extra bubble wrap.
How special items are handled
- Measured first – length, width, height and approximate weight of each piece, so the crate is made to size.
- Photographed and noted – existing chips, cracks, loose joints or flaking paint are written on a condition sheet that you sign at pickup.
- Paintings – have the medium, surface condition, frame, dimensions and value assessed; agree a suitable barrier, corner protection and box/crate without pressure or adhesive on the painted surface.
- Marble and stone tops – assess weight, thickness, support, lifting points and orientation with the appropriate handler; agree measured protection and restraint rather than one rule for every slab.
- Glass tops and mirrors – removed from the furniture, crated separately and marked "glass – upright".
- Wooden furniture – drawers emptied, doors secured without adhesive on polished finishes, legs removed where possible, corners and polished surfaces padded.
- Brass and metal décor – wrapped individually, packed with filling so nothing moves inside the carton.
At delivery, the same sheet is used to check each crated piece before it is opened. If you notice any damage, write it on the delivery receipt there itself and take photos.
Heat-sensitive items and receiving conditions
Ordinary goods transport does not provide temperature-controlled storage. Identify sensitive paintings, finishes, leather, wax items, medicines and other goods during the survey, follow their storage requirements and arrange appropriate specialist handling where needed. Keep everything dry before wrapping and inspect the receiving space before unpacking.
Package Counts, Transit Cover and Delivery Checks
Photograph fragile and valuable pieces before wrapping, number cartons and keep the inventory with the docket. At any agreed transfer or shuttle, match package counts and record condition before the next leg. At the Jaipur door, count packages and note visible damage or shortage on the delivery receipt before signing.
If cover is selected, check the declared value, premium, covered stages, exclusions, deductible, storage/handling inclusion and reporting procedure. Keep the accepted estimate, condition photos, delivery record and claim documents together. Report damage promptly through the stated contact and policy procedure; do not assume a universal claim deadline, automatic full replacement or settlement time.
Returning to a Family Home or Moving into a Furnished Rental?
The right inventory – and the right truck – depends a lot on what is waiting for you in Jaipur.
Returning to a family home
If the Jaipur family home already has furniture or appliances, compare what you need room by room. Weigh the moving cost against condition, resale value and replacement needs before deciding to sell a duplicate piece. Keep children’s books, personal collections and everyday kitchen needs in the plan, and carry essential documents yourself.
Moving into a furnished rental
A furnished or semi-furnished flat in Jagatpura or Mansarovar may already have beds, wardrobes and sometimes a fridge or washing machine. You may only need cartons, a few appliances, a TV, a work desk and a bike. That is often a good fit for a shared part load. Check with the landlord which appliances are provided before you pack yours.
Not sure yet?
If possession or the final inventory is undecided, ask about available holding or storage before dispatch. Agree which pieces go to the first address, any later delivery and the complete handling, storage and redelivery cost.
Car and Bike Transport from Bangalore to Jaipur
Compare the car or bike as a separate part of the estimate. Confirm open/enclosed mode, available carrier, pickup and delivery legs, planned handling and arrival window; do not assume it reaches on the same day as household goods.
| Vehicle | Mode | Indicative charge | Usual time (from pickup) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hatchback / sedan / SUV | Open car carrier | ₹12,000 – ₹20,000 | 6–9 days |
| Hatchback / sedan / SUV | Enclosed carrier | ₹20,000 – ₹32,000 | 6–9 days |
| Two-wheeler | Packed bike transport | ₹6,000 – ₹12,000 | 6–9 days |
Car type, carrier availability at Bengaluru, and exact pickup and drop points decide the final figure. GST is extra as applicable. For bike charges across other routes, see our bike transport charges guide.
Before handing over your vehicle
- Keep copies of RC, insurance and PUC with the vehicle; carry the originals yourself.
- Remove personal items and loose accessories. Follow the assigned carrier’s fuel instructions and manufacturer guidance for battery/EV preparation; agree FASTag handling and any authorised driven collection or delivery.
- Walk around the vehicle with our team and note every existing scratch and dent on the condition report, with photos and odometer reading.
- Check the vehicle against the same report at delivery before signing.
Re-registering a Karnataka vehicle in Rajasthan
If a vehicle registered in Karnataka is kept in Rajasthan for more than 12 months, reassignment of a registration mark falls under Section 47; Form 27 is the application and Form 28 concerns the NOC. Registration, state tax, address changes, financier requirements and any possible tax refund are separate checks. Keep the original documents and check the current procedure and any BH-series provisions with the authorities; do not assume the 12-month provision is a tax-free period. The paperwork commonly involves:
- Apply for a No Objection Certificate in Form 28 at the Karnataka RTO where the vehicle is registered. If there is a loan, you'll also need the bank's NOC.
- Check the NOC’s validity and the applicable submission process with the issuing and destination authorities.
- At the Jaipur RTO, apply for a new registration mark in Form 27 with the NOC, RC, insurance, PUC and Jaipur address proof, and pay Rajasthan road tax as per their rules.
- Ask the Karnataka RTO separately about any refund of unused road tax – that is between you and Karnataka.
Vehicles with a BH-series number follow a different scheme. Fees, exact forms and timelines can change, so please confirm with both RTOs before you move. We can transport the vehicle; the registration itself is done by the owner.
Paperwork: Household Goods vs Business Goods vs Vehicles
A lot of moving pages make paperwork sound scarier than it is, or mix up rules meant for business cargo with a family's used household goods. Here is how it actually splits:
| Type of goods | What usually travels with them | Who prepares it |
|---|---|---|
| Used personal and household goods | Packing list or inventory, copy of your ID, a simple declaration that these are used personal effects, consignment note / docket. Used personal and household effects are listed among goods that don't need a GST e-way bill. | You provide ID and sign the inventory; the mover issues the docket |
| Company or business goods (laptops, monitors, servers, office furniture) | Company's tax invoice or delivery challan, and an e-way bill where required – for inter-state movement this generally applies once the consignment value crosses ₹50,000 | The company's finance or admin team, before loading |
| Car or bike | Copies of RC, insurance and PUC, ID copy of owner, vehicle condition report | Owner provides documents; mover prepares condition report |
List company assets separately and have the responsible accounts/transport team check applicable invoices or delivery challans, thresholds, exemptions and e-way bill validity. Keep originals of important papers and valuables with you; provide only the copies or authorisations needed for the actual shipping and receiving arrangement.
Storage and Holding When Possession or the Lift Slot Changes
On a 2,000 km move, dates slip – the Jaipur flat isn't handed over on time, painting runs late, or the society shifts your lift booking. Plan for it:
- Shared load: if you tell us before dispatch, ask whether holding is available and agree the actual facility, inventory, period, rate basis and access.
- Dedicated truck: compare the actual agreed waiting charge with available holding, handling and redelivery costs.
- Short-term storage can be arranged on request. Before you agree, you'll get the location, monthly or daily charge, how goods are recorded, and redelivery cost in writing.
Tell us about a possible delay as early as possible – early notice gives more time to compare available arrangements.
Optional Services: AC, Appliances, Carpenter and More
- AC removal and fitting – removal in Bengaluru and fitting in Jaipur, use ₹1,200–₹1,800 per unit as an initial service guide only; confirm whether it prices removal, installation or both. Confirm any refrigerant work, pipe extension, stands, electrical supply or other materials with the qualified technician.
- Washing machine – manufacturer-specified draining/transit bolts and preparation, with any destination connection separately agreed.
- TV – wall-mount removal, packing in original box or a TV crate, and remounting if you want.
- Carpenter – for modular wardrobes, bunk beds, study tables and beds that need full dismantling and reassembly.
- Electrician / plumber – for chandeliers, geysers, water purifiers; arranged on request at actual cost.
- Unpacking – full unpacking and debris removal, or only placing cartons in the right rooms.
Each optional service is shown as a separate line in your estimate, so you can keep or remove it.
Employer Reimbursement and Approvals – Please Check First
Many people on this route are relocating for a job and claiming moving costs from their employer. Company policies differ. Some need an IBA-approved mover, some a particular invoice format, some three quotes, some only a GST invoice.
Packers and Movers from Bangalore is not IBA approved. Before you book, check your HR or relocation policy and ask us what kind of invoice and documents we can issue. If your policy strictly requires IBA approval, please confirm that first – we would rather you know at enquiry stage than after the move.
How a Bangalore to Jaipur Move Works – Step by Step
- Enquiry – call or WhatsApp with your Bengaluru area, Jaipur address type, move date and a rough list of items.
- Survey – a video walk-through or home visit to see actual volume, special items and access.
- Written estimate – mode (shared / dedicated / vehicle carrier), scope, line items, optional services and GST.
- Booking and dates – packing date, loading date, and either a fixed arrival range (dedicated) or dispatch and arrival windows (shared).
- Packing and inventory – items packed, cartons numbered, special items measured and condition-noted; you check and sign the inventory.
- Loading and documents – docket issued; the right papers for household, business or vehicle goods go with the load.
- Transit updates – request status by call or WhatsApp using your docket number. The website update box prepares a WhatsApp message rather than displaying an automatic status result.
- Jaipur delivery – unloading as per the access plan agreed, cartons checked against the inventory, crates checked against the condition sheet.
- Unpacking and setup – reassembly and any optional services as per the estimate.
Pickup from Across Bengaluru
We pick up for Jaipur from most parts of Bengaluru, including HSR Layout, Whitefield, Electronic City, Koramangala, Bellandur, Marathahalli, Indiranagar, Hebbal and Yelahanka. Gated tech-park societies in Whitefield and Electronic City often have their own move-out rules too – ask your society about exit pass and lift booking on the Bengaluru side as well.
