House shifting, villa moves, PG luggage, ITPB and EPIP office relocation, and intercity car and bike transport from Whitefield. Planned around your actual gate, lift and handover, not just a PIN code.
Whitefield is not one address. A 2 BHK in a Hope Farm high-rise, an independent house on a Kadugodi lane, a villa off Varthur Road and a tenant floor inside International Tech Park Bangalore (ITPB) all need a different vehicle, a different crew size and different permissions. So before we give you a price, we ask a few practical things: where exactly can the truck stand, how far is the carry from there to your door, what is the inside size of the service lift, and who will sign at both ends.
We work out of HSR Layout and handle local shifting across Bangalore as well as household moves from Bangalore to other Indian cities. This page covers what we do in Whitefield, how our charges are worked out, and how to plan your move whether you are a family in an apartment, an owner living abroad, a PG resident with a few bags, or an admin handling an office move.

Whitefield to five major cities: household shifting (standard scope)
These budgeting guides cover assessed household inventories. Compare packing, loading, transport, unloading and any accepted model-compatible refitting under the same scope. Shared or dedicated mode is named where the linked guide separates those prices. Do not assume the upper end reserves a dedicated truck; ask for separate shared-load and exclusive-vehicle estimates, dispatch and receiving windows. Route availability and handling scope affect the price as well as distance.

Car transport from Whitefield: open vs enclosed
Compare the available carrier modes and their accepted handling scope. An enclosed carrier may reduce exposure; loading equipment, ramp angle, securing and actual clearance still need to suit the vehicle, but it depends on availability for your route and date. We confirm the carrier type in writing before booking. For one popular route, see car transport from Bangalore to Hyderabad.

What changes the price
- Actual volume of goods, not just the number of rooms. A 2 BHK with a full study and a loft can be heavier than a sparse 3 BHK.
- Floor, lift size and whether the service lift is usable for the whole job
- Carry distance from the vehicle to your door, at both ends
- Vehicle size, and shared load versus dedicated vehicle
- Special items: art, stone tops, hydraulic beds, pianos, very large TVs
- Dismantling and refitting, crating, and unpacking at the new home
- Date: month-ends and weekends get booked faster
- Storage, transit cover and technician work, if you add them
Shared load vs dedicated vehicle: the four clocks
On a shared load, your goods travel with other consignments going the same way. It costs less, but dispatch may wait until the load is complete and the delivery window is wider. On a dedicated vehicle, confirm whether load space is exclusive and what handling and dispatch are planned. It can reduce consolidation waits, but a delivery date still needs agreement. Either way, keep four dates separate: pickup date, dispatch date, transit time, and the delivery slot your new society allows.
Storage terms to check
If you need storage, ask for these in writing: intake inventory with carton numbers, in-handling charge, monthly rent and how it is measured (space or volume), any minimum period, how and when you can visit, out-handling charge, redelivery transport cost, and what cover applies while goods are in storage. Redelivery to a new address is a separate move and is priced as one.
Illustrative example (hypothetical, not a customer invoice)
Say a 2 BHK on the 9th floor of a Hope Farm apartment is moving to HSR Layout. The service lift is usable at both ends, but the delivery building has a long walk from the parking area to the lift. Two beds and one wardrobe need dismantling and refitting.
| Line item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Packing materials and packing labour | ₹3,200 |
| Illustrative loading and unloading labour scope | ₹2,400 |
| Illustrative suitable local vehicle; actual capacity assessed | ₹3,800 |
| Dismantle and refit: 2 beds, 1 wardrobe | ₹1,200 |
| Extra carry at delivery building | ₹600 |
| Total before applicable taxes | ₹11,200 |
This only shows how a quote is built up. It sits inside the 2 BHK local range above. Your own figure will depend on your survey.

Choose a listed destination and inventory category. Local figures are budgeting examples; intercity bands follow the route guides linked below. The actual quote needs your inventory and both entrances.
Your planning guide
Confirm packing, loading, unloading, floors/lift, carrying distance, vehicle/mode, toll treatment, applicable tax, selected cover and optional work in the dated quote. Volume choices do not apply an automatic multiplier. Vehicle acceptance and schedules are assessed separately.

Our moving services in Whitefield
House shifting for flats

Large flats, villas and premium furniture
4 BHK, 5 BHK and villa moves with a bigger crew and, where needed, two vehicles. We check lift, door and staircase sizes before moving day, and plan separately for art, stone tops, glass, recliners and hydraulic beds.
PG and few-item shifting
Moving out of a PG with suitcases, a mattress and a small table, or shifting a single room? We do small moves on a shared or small vehicle, with the scope and vehicle space assessed for that load.
Office shifting in ITPB, EPIP and nearby parks
Workstations, chairs, monitors, desktops, files and network racks moved seat by seat as per your seat map. Your IT team handles backups, shutdown and recommissioning; we handle the agreed physical side.

If you are abroad or out of town, we work through a video survey and a person you nominate for handover. You decide what goes, what stays and what goes to storage, in writing.
Storage while you wait for keys
Between leases, waiting for possession of a new flat, or on an overseas assignment? Discuss available storage for the actual dates, location and goods, with intake inventory, handling, duration, access and redelivery charges agreed before booking.
Intercity household moves

Whitefield area worksheet: two pins, real access
People say "Whitefield" for a big stretch of east Bangalore. The area spans more than one PIN code, and two buildings on the same road can have completely different goods access. These are the things we usually check in each part. Treat them as a checklist, not fixed rules.
| Area | What to check | What we confirm before quoting |
|---|---|---|
| Hope Farm and Whitefield Main Road side | Busy junction; many apartment blocks sit on side roads where a big truck may not be able to wait | Where a loaded vehicle can legally stop, gate-to-lift carry, society goods slot |
| Kadugodi | Mix of older independent houses and newer apartments; some lanes are narrow | Whether a 14 ft or bigger vehicle can reach, or a smaller one has to shuttle; stairs or lift |
| Nallurhalli | Residential lanes and mid-size apartment buildings | Lane width at the actual gate, parking during loading, floor and lift |
| Varthur and Varthur Road side | Longer stretches, villa layouts and gated plots set back from the main road | Goods vehicle entry rules at the layout gate, distance from gate to villa, internal road for the truck |
| Brookefield | Apartments close to office campuses and ITPL Main Road traffic | Society slot versus road traffic, basement height if loading from the basement |
| EPIP Zone | Office and industrial campuses | Company material gate, security pass, facility appointment, asset release list |
| ITPL Main Road side and ITPB | Offices, retail and a hotel inside one campus | The tenant's actual goods-entry point, not the main reception or mall entrance |
The two-pin rule: send us two exact map pins, one at the gate where the truck will enter for pickup and one at the delivery gate. A locality name or PIN code is not enough. The nearest metro exit, a landmark or your office's postal address is not a place where goods can be loaded either.
With the pins, tell us three more things: whether a loaded vehicle can stand at that gate, how far the internal carry is from the vehicle to your door, and the goods slot your society or facility has given you for the day.
Office shifting at ITPB and other Whitefield tech parks
International Tech Park Bangalore (ITPB) on Whitefield Road (560066) is a large mixed campus with offices, retail and a hotel. Many people write "ITPL" in enquiries, which is fine, but for planning the campus name doesn't help much. The campus address, the main reception or the mall-side entrance is usually not where a tenant's furniture and IT assets go in and out.
Before we can quote an office move from or to ITPB, or any campus in EPIP Zone or near Brookefield, we need:
- Company name, building or tower, and floor
- The material or goods gate your facility team uses, and whether a vehicle can come up to it or goods have to be trolleyed from a loading point
- Your facility appointment slot, and what the facility team needs from us: vehicle number, crew names and IDs, gate pass format
- An asset release list or gate pass from your admin team that names what is leaving the premises
- Seat count, number of monitors and desktops, server or network racks, and any furniture that belongs to the landlord and stays
Who does what: your IT team or service provider takes care of data backup, shutdown, network disconnection and recommissioning at the new site. The agreed physical work uses item-appropriate electronics protection, cables bagged and tagged with the seat number, crating where it makes sense, loading, transport, and placing each item at its new seat as per your seat map. We don't power on servers or touch any configuration.
The same split works for work-from-home setups. Back up your data, check your employer's policy on company laptops and monitors (many companies want an asset authorisation letter or want the laptop to travel with you), and keep chargers and adapters in one labelled bag.
Large flats, villas and premium furniture: will it actually fit?
In big-home moves, the trouble is usually not packing. It's a sofa that won't take the stair turn or a dining top that doesn't go into the new building's lift. So we measure before moving day:
- Service lift inside width, depth and height, plus the door opening. The outside size of the lift tells you nothing.
- Main door and room doors at the new home, and the narrowest turn on the way
- Villa gate and driveway: can the vehicle come in, or does the carry start at the gate
- Staircase width and landings in duplexes and villas
- The final room for each large piece, so it goes straight there and isn't moved twice
Items we plan separately: framed art and mirrors, antiques, marble, granite and other stone tops, glass tables and shelves, hydraulic beds, recliners and motorised furniture, ergonomic chairs, sit-stand desks and workstations, and any very heavy piece. Each one is photographed, its condition noted and your declared value recorded before packing.
We don't dismantle a piece just because it is big. A piece that fits intact still needs a safe supported carrying and securing plan. If it has to come apart, we first check that the model allows it. Some branded furniture, hydraulic beds and motorised pieces are better opened by the brand's own service team, and we will tell you when that's the case.
A few things we don't do as routine: we never stick tape directly on polished wood, lacquer, stone or painted walls (we wrap first and tape only the wrap), and we don't treat balcony or rope lifting as a normal fix. If something truly cannot go through the building, we discuss options with you first.
Moving when the owner is abroad or out of town
A lot of Whitefield flats belong to people working overseas or in another city, with a tenant moving out or a relative keeping the keys. You can manage the whole move remotely if the decisions and the signatures are clear. This is how we set it up:
- Video survey. Someone at the flat (tenant, relative or property manager) walks room by room on a video call with you and us. We note big items, fragile items and anything that needs a technician.
- You decide, in writing. What goes, what stays with the landlord, what gets sold, what goes to storage, and the declared value of costly items. Send it on WhatsApp or email. Our crew does not decide what is yours.
- Nominated handover person. Confirm who is authorised to give access, check the pickup inventory and sign; provide necessary contact or identity details privately through the agreed booking channel. The same for the receiver at each delivery address.
- Numbering and condition record. Every carton and item gets a room code and number, for example MB-07 for master bedroom carton 7. Condition notes and photos go to you and the handover person.
- Updates at key stages. Agree the condition record, packing/loading photos and updates needed at handover and delivery. A nominated receiver and decision authority matter more than assuming a continuous live video service.
Splitting one home into several destinations
Expat and remote-owner moves often split one flat into many streams. Keep a separate label series, receiver and clock for each, so nothing gets mixed up:
| Stream | Label series | Receiver | Clock | Charges shown separately |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Domestic shipment (for example, family home in Gurgaon) | D-001 onwards | Named family member at the Gurgaon address | Dispatch date, transit time, their society's receiving slot | Packing, loading, transport, unloading |
| Storage | S-001 onwards | Storage intake record | In-date, storage period, out-date when you call for it | In-handling, monthly rent, out-handling, redelivery |
| Leave with landlord or sell | L-001 onwards | Landlord or buyer | Before keys are returned | Usually none, unless moved inside the flat |
| Overseas enquiry | X-001 onwards | The confirmed international provider | Only after the provider and documents are confirmed | Quoted separately by the actual provider |
Keep four dates apart in your plan: your own travel date, the date storage space is available, the dispatch date of each load, and the receiving slot at each destination. They rarely fall on the same day.
Whitefield to Gurgaon is a domestic move. Even if your employer calls it an expat relocation, the goods travel within India like any other domestic shipment. There is no customs clearance involved. For an overseas shipment, the documents and process depend on the country and the provider, so we confirm the actual provider and what they need from you before you commit to anything.
How to choose packers and movers in Whitefield
Whether you hire us or someone else, these questions will save you a bad moving day:
- Did they see your goods? A price given over the phone without a visit or video survey is often revised on the day.
- Is the quote broken down? Packing, loading, transport, unloading, dismantling and refitting, extra carry, storage and taxes should each be clear.
- Vehicle and load type in writing: vehicle size, and whether it is a shared load or a dedicated vehicle.
- Transit cover: what is covered, on what declared value, what is excluded and how a claim works. "Fully insured" alone means nothing.
- Payment terms: how much advance, when the balance is due, and whether you get a GST invoice with matching company details.
- Do they ask about access? A mover who asks about your lift, carry distance and society slot is planning. One who asks only for the PIN code is guessing.
- Inventory and receipt: numbered cartons, a written inventory and a delivery receipt where you can note damage.
Red flags: pressure to pay the full amount before loading, no written inventory, a very low phone quote that grows once goods are on the truck, and a company name or number on the invoice that doesn't match the one you booked with.
Why Whitefield families and offices choose us
- Survey first, price second. Home visit or video survey, then a written quote with each part of the work listed.
- Item-wise inventory. Numbered cartons, condition notes and photos for costly items, shared with you before the truck leaves.
- Clear about what we don't do. Gas work belongs with the supplier or appropriate authorised service; server, electrical and appliance work needs the relevant qualified team. Agree any separately available technician service and charge before relying on it.
- East Bangalore coordination. Discuss both actual addresses in Whitefield, Marathahalli, Bellandur and nearby areas, including the actual goods slots and lawful vehicle access for the date.
- Cover discussed upfront. Transit cover type, declared value basis, exclusions and the claim steps are explained in the quote, not after something goes wrong.
- One number for the move. Call or WhatsApp 7015440700 from survey to delivery.
Our moving process, step by step
- Enquiry: share move type, both map pins, preferred date and a few photos.
- Survey: home visit or video call. We note items, access, lift size and special pieces.
- Written quote: scope, vehicle, shared or dedicated, cover options, payment terms and timeline.
- Booking and permissions: you take the move form or slot from your society or facility office; we share vehicle and crew details they ask for.
- Packing day: room-wise packing, numbering and inventory. For a 2 or 3 BHK local move, packing and loading usually happen the same day.
- Loading: heavy items first, fragile cartons secured, final walk-through of lofts, balcony and utility with you.
- Transit: confirm actual dispatch, planned handling points and receiving window; shared loads may need consolidation before departure.
- Delivery and check: carton count against the inventory, fragile cartons opened in front of you, beds and wardrobes refitted as agreed.
- Unpacking (if booked): kitchen and wardrobe unpacking, and taking away packing waste where the building allows it.
How we pack, item by item
| Item | How it is packed | Your preparation |
|---|---|---|
| Crockery and glassware | Each piece paper-wrapped, dividers or dish packs, cartons marked fragile and this side up | Empty, wash and keep daily-use items aside |
| TV and monitors | Original box if available, otherwise foam, corrugated sheet and a crate for large panels | Tell us if it is wall-mounted; keep the remote and screws in a labelled bag |
| Fridge | Stretch wrap with corner guards, kept upright | Defrost and dry as per your model's manual; after delivery, wait the time the manual says before switching on |
| Washing machine | Wrapped, hoses tied, drum secured | Use the correct transport bolts and preparation required by the model; arrange competent assistance if bolts are missing, and drain and dry as instructed |
| AC, RO purifier, geyser | Packed after removal | Arrange competent removal and reinstallation separately, confirming availability, scope and charge |
| Sofa, beds, wardrobes | Foam or bubble wrap, stretch wrap, corner guards; fittings bagged and tagged | Empty wardrobes and drawers; keep keys and fittings in a labelled pouch associated with the item, without adhesive on finished surfaces |
| Polished wood, lacquer, stone | Suitable non-abrasive wrap, no adhesive on finished surfaces, with stone support, orientation and any crating assessed for its construction | Point out existing scratches so they go in the condition record |
| Desktops and home office | Model-appropriate protective packaging, original boxes where suitable, cables bagged and labelled; avoid pressure or unsuitable materials against electronic components | Back up data; company laptops travel with you |
| Gas cylinder | Not loaded with gas in it | Check with your gas distributor about transfer or surrender |
| Jewellery, cash, passports, documents | Not packed by us | Carry them yourself |

- Ask your broadband provider about shifting the connection, since some need lead time
1 week before
- Confirm the goods slot and service lift booking at both ends
- Share vehicle and crew details with security if they ask
- Book a technician for AC, RO and geyser removal if needed

- Empty wardrobes and drawers; back up laptops and phones
- Set aside jewellery, documents, medicines and chargers to carry yourself
- Pack an essentials bag for the first night
Moving day
- Walk through the flat with the crew lead before packing starts

- Do a last round of lofts, balcony, utility area and the space behind doors
- Note meter readings and hand over keys as agreed
Delivery day

Best time to move in Whitefield
Plan around your society's goods slot first, and confirm any change with the facility and booking team before dispatch. After that, road timing matters. Weekday office rush on ITPL Main Road, Varthur Road and around Hope Farm is usually heavy in the morning and evening, so a loading slot outside those hours often saves time. Month-ends and weekends fill up faster, so book earlier for those dates.
For wet weather, assess suitable moisture protection, covered dry staging, a clear carrying route and loading conditions. Wrapping does not make goods flood-proof; agree a changed appointment if safe dry handling is impractical. Office moves often work best from Friday evening into the weekend, if your facility team allows it.
If you are moving nearby, see our pages for Marathahalli, Indiranagar and HSR Layout.
