Shared Part Load vs Dedicated Truck for Bangalore to Madurai

This is the one decision that changes your cost, your delivery date and how many times your goods are handled. A low starting price on any website is usually a shared-load figure. It is not the price of a truck reserved only for you.

• 1RK: shared load works well. Ask for the minimum billing so you know where the floor of the price is.
• 1BHK: shared if you are flexible on delivery date, a small dedicated vehicle if you need a fixed day.

If you are working in Bengaluru and cannot take many days off, the trick is not to force everything into one night. Split the move into separate appointments: packing, loading, dispatch, receiving, and technician visits. Each one can be fixed on its own day and time.

1. 7 to 10 days before: finish the survey, choose shared or dedicated, and decide who will receive in Madurai. Inform both societies and ask about lift booking or time slots.
2. Packing day: this can be a weekday evening or the earlier weekend day, depending on crew availability and inventory size. A full 2BHK can take most of a day to pack, so some people get non-daily items packed a day or two earlier and live out of a suitcase after that.

Use a suitable original screen box or measured protective packing, supporting the screen without pressure and following manufacturer orientation guidance. Label brackets and fittings by item, back up desktop data and keep portable work essentials available until your new desk is ready.

Things to keep with you

Jewellery, cash, property papers, certificates, passports and medicines should travel with you, not in the household truck.

Moving Back to Madurai with Family or Elderly Parents

A lot of people on this route are going back home, sometimes after many years in Bengaluru, sometimes to be near parents. A few things make that first week easier:

• Muhurtham dates: if a paal kaachudhal or house-warming date is already fixed, tell us at the survey so the delivery date is planned before it, with some buffer.

Office moves into Madurai usually go to one of two very different kinds of address, and they should not be planned the same way.

Commercial address near Mattuthavani

Mattuthavani is a busy commercial area near the bus terminus and markets. For a shop or office here, the questions are the building's goods entry, parking for loading, and the time of day when traffic around the terminal is lighter. A weekend or early slot often works better, but we confirm it with your building first.

Factory or office unit at Kappalur or K. Pudur

The official Madurai district list shows K. Pudur and Kappalur as separate SIDCO industrial estates. So "Kappalur" alone on a booking is not enough. Please share:

• Estate name, unit, shed or plot number
• Registered company name and the person receiving
• Receiving bay, entry timing and any gate pass process the estate or unit follows
• Whether a pallet jack or forklift is available at your end
• Owner's papers for the goods: invoices, asset list and the business's own e-way bill where it applies

Household furniture is not machinery or stock

Moving office furniture and computers is one quote. Moving machinery, raw material or saleable stock is a separate job that needs weights, dimensions, lifting equipment and proper documents from the company. We do not price machinery or stock as a household move.

IT and workstation checklist

1. Back up all systems and servers before packing; confirm the backup works.
2. Label each workstation, monitor, CPU and chair with the same seat number.
3. Bag and label cables per desk.
4. Keep UPS batteries and anything with stored data on a separate list.

Preparing your car

• Remove valuables, loose items, and any accessories that can come off.
• Follow the assigned carrier’s fuel and battery instructions and the vehicle manufacturer’s guidance. Agree FASTag handling and any authorised driven collection or delivery.
• Wash the car before handover so scratches are visible in photos.
• Take photos from all sides along with the odometer reading, and note existing scratches on the handover form.

Preparing your bike

You get a consignment number at loading. Call 7015440700 or use the website update box to prepare a WhatsApp request with your reference. The website does not display shipment status automatically. We also call the receiver before the truck reaches Madurai to confirm they are available.

If the Madurai house is not ready

If painting, possession or a previous tenant changes your receiving date, tell the booking contact before dispatch. Confirm actual holding availability, location, conditions, rate basis, additional handling, selected cover and redelivery cost before accepting that option.

Transit cover and claims

Transit cover is optional. If you take it, the premium is based on the value you declare, and what is covered depends on the policy terms and exclusions, which you should read before moving day. If something arrives damaged, write it on the delivery receipt, take photos, and inform us quickly. The claim is processed as per the policy terms. Without cover, our responsibility is as written in the booking terms.
